Welcome to my personal and educational journey. My wife Noel and I met in 1996 at Susquehanna University. We each graduated from Susquehanna in 1997, me with a BA in History and a Secondary Education Certification in Social Studies. In 1999 I began working for the Manheim Township School District in Lancaster, PA in the high school. Since then I have taught ESL students, Special Education students, students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Advanced Placement while also serving as a Student Assistance Program member, 9th Grade Transition Leader, and Co-Department Chair for the Social Studies Department. Additionally, I have been coaching high school basketball since 1997. I am currently the Assistant Varsity Boys' Basketball Coach for the Manheim Twp Blue Streaks.
My wife and I have two beautiful children. Tyson is 7 and loving first grade, soccer, and attending basketball games. Tori is nearly 5 and cannot wait to go to kindergarten next year. They have each supported me through my educational journey at Michigan State University and provide me with new daily insights on the learning process.
